CAMERON—Guadalupe Alvarado, 87, of Cameron died Friday, June 21, 2019, at her home.

Funeral services were heldTuesday, June 25, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron. Burial followed at Hernandez Cemetery. Rosary was recited Monday, June 24, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mrs. Alvarado, a homemaker, was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Rosebud to Cosme and Frances (Morales) Perez.

She married Eleno Alvarado on Oct. 18, 1974.

Mrs. Alvarado was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Edward Alvarado and Michael Alvarado, and two brothers, Agapito Sedillo and Joe Cedillo Sr.

Survivors are her husband, Eleno Alvarado of Cameron; three sons, Eleno Alvarado, Jr. of Temple, Johnny Alvarado of Houston, Raymond Alvarado of Cameron; four daughters, Diana Johnson of Temple, Theresa Alvarado of Cameron, Lydia Varela of Rockdale, Margie Rangel of Westphalia; and three brothers, Chano Cedillo of Juarez, Mexico, Domingo Sedillo of Petersburg, Chevo Cedillo of Lubbock; also, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
