A graveside services was held Friday, May 27, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Clark was born Aug. 2, 1927, in San Saba County to Emmett Overton and Willie Rhea (Graham) Taylor.

After graduating high school, she graduated from beautician school.

On Oct. 25, 1947, she married Jack Clark in San Saba. They moved to Rockdale and she was a homemaker and worked as a beautician for 35 years until retiring in the early 1980s.

Mrs. Clark was a member of Murray Street Church of Christ.

She was a talented seamstress, loved to quilt and crochet and could bake the best pies, especially pecan and custard pies.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Willie Rhea Taylor; two brothers and a sister.

Survivors are her husband, Jack Clark of Rockdale; a son, Clift Clark and wife Suzanne of Rockdale; three grandsons, Trey Clark and wife Sharon, Chad Clark and wife Kelly, Cody Clark and wife Tammy; and seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Carlee Jack, JT, Easton, Case, Cal and Cope.
