Conover
Kay Outland Conover passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at her home in Rock-dale with her husband by her side.
A memorial service was held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell on Thursday, Oct. 24, with Rev. John Alaniz as officiant. On Nov. 2, 2019, at 10 a.m., there will be a Celebration of Life service at First Assembly of God Church in Caldwell with Pastor David Ryman officiating.
Kay was born on Jan. 4, 1981. She is the daughter of Shanan and Janie Outland.
Kay became a mother on Aug. 24, 2006, when she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Mason Kayden.
Kay married Anthony Conover on Feb. 8, 2014.
Kay was a caring, giving and loving person.
She was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church. She worked for the church’s fair booth at the Burleson County Fair. She also helped with the Girls Ministry as a teacher and an assistant. She was also in their annual Fall Festival and Vacation Bible School.
She organized several back-to-school clothing drives, assisting many families with clothing for the upcoming school year. She saw a need for school supplies and added those donations the next year.
During the month of November, she collected coats and gave them to people in the community.
She was an advocate for autism awareness in honor of her nephew, Sean. She helped raise money for FACETS, a local parent-run autism support group.
This summer, while she was sick, she helped deliver backpacks of school supplies to needy families with her motorcycle family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Anthony Conover of Rockdale; her son, Mason Kayden Hart; her parents, Shanan and Janie Outland; three brothers and spouses, Ricky Outland and his wife Amparo, Michael Outland and his wife Stephanie, and Steven Outland and his wife Katie; one sister, Shannon Outland; two nephews, Sean and Seth Outland; one niece, Remi Outland; her grandmother, Patricia Menville; grandfather Rodney Outland and his wife Ola; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gale and Elizabeth Miller of Crown-point, IN; numerous aunts and uncles; and her closest and dearest friends, Latonya Foster and Erica Arguello.
Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Outland, Michael Outland, Steven Outland, Matthew Ybarra, Nathan Ybarra, Allen Ybarra, Joshua Ybarra, Matt Kelly, Josh Nixon and Brad Perkins.
