Earnestine Cook, 69 of Thorndale died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Seton Williamson County Hospital in Round Rock.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Visitation is set for 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Ms. Cook was born Aug. 22, 1949 in Navarro County to Tommie and Idella (Porter) Cook.
She moved to Thorndale at a very early age.
She married Richard Williams.
Ms. Cook worked as a dietary supervisor for a nursing home in Taylor until she retired in 1990.
She was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church in Rockdale and had been attending Thorndale Baptist Church.
Ms. Cook was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mahoma D. Williams; her parents; two sisters, Josephine Mitchell and Ola Mae Cook; a nephew, Thomas Basey; and a sister-in-law, Angela Derise Cook.
Survivors are a daughter, Michelle and husband Fredrick Weaver of Fort Worth; a son, Richard T. Cook and wife Yvonne of Thorndale; three brothers, Francis Cook and wife Cherylyn, Vernon Cook and wife Sherri, all of Taylor, Cecil Cook and wife Margie of Thorndale; four sisters, Shirley Mitchell, Tommie Faye Fair and Ethel Cook, all of Thorn-dale, Joyce Hodge and husband Rick of Lincoln; and eight grandchildren, Brandon San Migel and wife Jordon, Stacey San Migel and husband Wesley, Thadaus Cook and wife Valarie, Tamicka Cook, SeDerrick Brooks, Elonte Goss, D’Vaughncee Goss and Dyheshah Goss; also, 15 great-grandchildren.
