Diane Joyce Ernst Cuba, 65, of Fort Worth died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, in Fort Worth.

A funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 12, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Gary Hewer of First Christian Church in Lexington officiating.

Mrs. Cuba was born on Oct. 28, 1956, to Robert and Joyce (Edwards) Ernst in Columbus, Nebraska.

She worked as a rural mail carrier for the postal service.

On Dec. 8, 1984, she married Ronal G. Cuba in Fort Worth.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Cuba was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ernst; and mother and stepfather, Joyce and Chester Allen Taylor.

Survivors are her husband, Ronal G. Cuba of Fort Worth; two sons, Ryan Cuba and wife Jessica of Denton, Robert Cuba and wife Kristal of Fort Worth; a daughter, Taylor Cuba of Fort Worth; a brother, Kenneth Ernst; and a sister, Kathy Ernst; also, eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Werner Schultz, Ryan Cuba, Robert Cuba, Preston Cuba, Michael Cuba and Taylor Cuba.
