Dianna Baines
Dianna Baines—born Dianna Lynn Forester in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 9, 1951—died from stage 4 cancer on June 14, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
In 1976, Mrs. Baines moved to Texas where she lived the rest of her life.
She married Allen Baines on Dec. 7, 1990 in Angleton. They relocated from Hutto to Rockdale nine years ago.
Mrs. Baines enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the coast and the lake, taking long drives through the hill country and backroads of Texas and just being in the country in general, and playing with her furbabies.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, a sister, and her Rottweiler, Sharona.
Mrs. Baines was born into a family with five sisters and a brother: Theresa, Donna, Sheilia, Sandy, Sherill, and Jimmy.
Survivors are her husband, Allen, along with her daughter, Tina Knox of Temple. She was a grandmother to Ashley Salinas and a great-grandmother to Andre, both of Brazoria.
She is also survived by a stepdaughter and family, Kelly and John Haynes and their kids (her grandkids), Lexi and Austin; a stepson and family, Kevin and Dawn and their children, Timmy, Elijah, Mason, and Karson; and two nieces, Angie Settemeyer of Round Rock and Shannon Barr of Pflugerville; also, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.
The Baines also have four dogs, lzzy, a German shepherd, and three yorkies—Sampson, Delilah, and BearBear.
