Finley

Odelia Bourque Finley, 92, of Waco, formerly of Rockdale, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital.

Her body will be cremated and memorial services are pending.

Interment will be in Rice Cemetery, CR 241, Cameron.

Mrs. Finley was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Calcaseu Parish, Louisiana, to Ellen Duhon and Leroy Finely.

She was previously a Rockdale resident for 14 years.

She was married to Leroy Finley, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Finley worked for Pasadena State Bank for about 27 years.

She enjoyed sewing and reading and was an excellent cook. She loved her family and appreciated her close friends.

Mrs. Finley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Helen Lovell; a brother, Preston Jeter; and a sister, Gertrude LaBove.

Survivors are two sisters, Grace Keeney of Canyon Lake and Mayola Ingram of Mineola; and two grandchildren, John Lovell of Bayfield, Colorado, and Danna Verlander of Waco; also, four great-grandchildren.
