HOUSTON—Nora Lee Watson Fisher, 91, of Porter, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

A visitation for Nora will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway in Houston.

The funeral service will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at the funeral home. Burial will follow from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway in Houston. Nora was born in Rockdale

Nora was born in Rockdale on May 20, 1931, to parents Elsie Dickey Watson and Walter Watson.

Nora graduated from Rockdale High School and went on to meet the love on her life, Clyde Fisher.

She had a career in Beekley’s Pharmacy for 15 years.

Nora had a passion for gardening, church, red birds and family. She loved and could not go a day without her daily Bible study.

She was preceded in death by husband Clyde “Cotton” Fisher; son Clyde Jr., Dennis Fisher; parents Walter and Elsie.

She is survived by daughters Carol Webb, Brenda Jane Hodges, Joanne Condrey (Jeff Condrey), Nancy Burks (Allen Burks); sons James Richard Fisher (Wanda Fisher), Robert Lee Fisher (Marc Bridges); brother Charlie Watson (Pat Watson); also, 22 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Nancy and Allen Burks for housing and caring for our precious mother in her final days with us. It was greatly appreciated.

Serving as pallbearers are Reagan Hodges, Jason Hodges, Paul Hasty, Christopher Condrey, Seth Condrey, Sean Condrey, James (J.J) Fisher, Mark Garrison, Steven Fisher and Lance Webb.
