CAMERON—Betty Caperton Bowman Franzl, 92, of Cameron died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, in a Cameron nursing and rehab center.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at All Saints Episcopal Church with Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.

Mrs. Franzl, a retired clinical psychologist, was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Herman Eastland and Helen Louise (Alspaugh) Caperton.

She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Cameron and Christ Episcopal Church in Temple.

Mrs. Franzl was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franzl in 2002.

Survivors are two sons, George Bowman II of Cameron, Jim Bowman of Burnsville, North Carolina; and five daughters, Annie Bowman Melton of Dallas, Betsy Bowman Davis of Sharp, Mary Bowman Michelik of Shinnston, West Virginia, Laura Bowman Roschelle Jones of Austin, Roberta Franzl of New Jersey; also, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
