Delia Carrillo Galvan, 75, of Rockdale died peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, in Round Rock after a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Hillman of First Pentecostal Church in Rockdale officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Visitation is set for 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the funeral home with rosary at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Galvan was born April 1, 1942, in Rockdale to Rafaela (Mendoza) Flores.

After graduating from Rock-dale High School, she earned her nursing degree and worked at various locations.

She married Jimmy Galvan Sr. in 1970 in Taylor and then became a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Mrs. Galvan was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Galvan Sr.; a brother, Randy Flores; and a sister, Virginia Vaca.

Survivors are her sons, Anthony Galvan and wife Darlene of Lexington, Eric Galvan and wife Stephani of Rockdale, Jimmy Galvan of Taylor, Mitchell Galvan and wife Tiffany of Rockdale; her grandchildren, Ashley Ramey and husband Donivan, Tiffany, Stephanie, Valentine, Megan, Morgan, Courtney and Colby, Brittany and Brooklyn Galvan, Tristan and Kinley Galvan; her great-grandchildren, Donivee and Adalyn Ramey; her brothers, Rudolph Flores and wife Adelia of Coppell, Marcario Flores Jr. and wife Rosie, Robert Flores and wife Josie, all of Rock-dale; her sisters, Mary Ann Masiel and husband Henry of Fairfield, Irene Avila and husband Robert of Rockdale, Helen Flores of Georgetown; and a sister-in-law, Kim Flores of Rockdale; also, numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Pallbearers will be Bo Flores, Jamie Flores, Donivan Ramey, Tristan Galvan, Keith Galvan and Cody Hurt.
