Hairston

Bobbie Mae Crouch Hairston, 84, of Gause died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Gause Cemetery in Gause with John Krause officiating.

Ms. Hairston was born Aug. 10, 1937, to Roy Orange and Ouida (Lockhart) Crouch in Gause, where she lived all of her life.

She worked as a CNA in the Cameron Nursing Home and then later was a school bus driver.

She was a member of Gause Cemetery Association.

Ms. Hairston was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Orange and Ouida (Lockhart) Crouch; three brothers, Eddie Crouch, JD Crouch and Ivan Crouch; and two sisters, Hattie Cox and Ida Morgan.

Survivors are her nieces and nephews, Jay D. Crouch, Irene Cox Musselwhite, Shelley Morgan Levitt, Wynell Morgan Grimmett and Larry Morgan; a sister-in-law, Jean Crouch of Many, Louisiana; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
