Johnny Carl Manning

Johnny Carl Manning, 71, of Teague passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024.

Services will be at 1 p. m. Mond ay, Nov. 25, at Phillips & Lucke y Funeral Home, 1041 US Hwy. 79, in Rockdale with Pastor Matt Higginbotham officiating.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services.

Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Johnny was born March 27, 1953, in Freeport to J.C. and Patsy Daughtry Manning.

He was raised in Rockdale, and graduated from Rockdale High School in 1971.

Johnny enjoyed his retirement years living on some land and was thinking of getting some cattle to put on it.

He was a giving man, looking to help anyone in need.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Donald and Jackie Manning.

Johnny was survived by his two sisters, Elaine Manning, Linda Hughes and husband Randy; sons John and Chad Manning; and granddaughters Hali Manning, Skyler Meyers, Abby Manning and Makenna Manning; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
