Kuykendall

MIDLAND—Lois Louise Wade Kuykendall of Midland passed away at the age of 87 on Thursday, April 26, 2018.

The family received friends on Sunday, April 29, from 2-4 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Lois was born on June 5, 1930, to Odell and Edgar Wade in Rockdale.  

She graduated from Rockdale High School in 1948.

Lois married JR Kuykendall in 1950 in Midland.

She enjoyed Tri-Chem, crocheting and her trips to the Midland Senior Center. She had a great love of visiting with people and a true passion for the Lord.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy and Kay Kuykendall of Midland, Tommy and Diane Kuykendall of Midland, Don and Mary Kuykendall of Buffalo, Terry and Kelly Kuykendall of Midland, Debbie Kuykendall of Midland; brother Ronnie Wade of Houston; also, 17 grandkids, 27 great-grandkids and two great-great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband JR Kuykendall, daughter Lois-Marie Langley, granddaughter Kristi Kuykendall and brother Barton Wade.

Pallbearers were Danny Langley, Bryan Kuykendall, Jody Mc Kinney, Jeremy Johnson, Kevin Kuykendall and Roy Don Kuykendall.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be donated to Midland Senior Center or Home Hospice of Midland.
