Martinez

Eusebio Martinez Jr., 67, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, surrounded by his family in Rockdale.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Phillips & Luckey in Rock-dale. Burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mr. Martinez was born Sept. 26, 1952, to Eusebio and Elouisa (Rodriguez) Martinez in Olton.

In 1982, he met and fell in love with Audelia Perez.

In 1995, they moved to Rockdale when he started working at Alcoa. He worked there until they closed.

Mr. Martinez was a member of Harvest Bible Church.

He enjoyed music, dancing, driving, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his father, Eusebio Martinez Sr.; a granddaughter, Angelita Rivera; and a brother-in-law, Henry Montelongo.

Survivors are his wife, Audelia Martinez of Rock-dale; his children, Ronnie Martinez of Devine, Paul Amaya of Brighton, Colorado, Gloria Rivera and husband Angel of Rockdale, Angel Martinez and wife Ashley of Rockdale, Eusebio Martinez III and wife Ashley of Midland; his grandchildren, Mariaelena Rivera, Verenice Rivera, Makayla Martinez, Malakai Martinez, and Maycee Martinez; his mother, Elouisa Martinez of Denver, Colorado; his siblings, Diana Vasquez and husband Serapio, Able Martinez and wife Margaret, all of Denver, Colorado, Veva Luevano and husband Pablo of Brighton, Colorado; and three special nieces and nephews, John Montelongo, Venus Castillo and Leo Montelongo.
