Mary Alice King

Mary Alice King, 73, of Milano died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Funeral services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will follow at Milano Cemetery.

Mrs. King was born Sept. 14, 1945, in Cameron to James Clayton and Lola B. (Roper) Jones.

On Aug. 20, 1965, she married Larry King in Austin.

Mrs. King grew up in Gause and later lived in Austin and had lived in Milano since 1972.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching basketball.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Benjamin Jones.

Survivors are her husband, Larry King of Milano; a son, Alvie King and wife Wendy of Milano; a daughter, Angie Tydlacka and husband Mark of Milano; her grandchildren, Ally Taylor of Bryan, Aubrie King of Schulenburg, Kyle King and Ben King, both of Milano; and four sisters-in-law, Darlene Downing, Nancy Barnard and Connie Thompson, all of Georgetown, Laura Jones of Washington; also, a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aubrie King, Ben King, Kyle King, Mark Tydlacka, David Westbrook and Kaitlynn Lawyer.
