Mickie Musgrave May, 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White after a long battle with rheumatoid arthritis.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was born on Dec. 29, 1952, along with her twin brother, Rickie Wolfe, in Houston.

On Dec. 9, 2004, she married the love of her life, James May. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2005, after having 15 great years together.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, P.H. Wolfe on June 7, 1988, and her mother Ella Wolfe on Jan. 3, 1979; a sister, Patsy Weller; and a brother, Elmer Glen Wolfe.

Survivors are a son, Cody R. Box of Navasota; a sister, Marilyn Weller of Minerva; four brothers, Buddy Wolfe of Spring, Paskiel Wolfe of Livingston, Rickie Wolfe of Willis and Jerry Wolfe of Houston; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Broder; also, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. May was a very artistic person, she enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts, as well as crocheting beautiful afghans and painting.

She also loved her dogs and cats. She was loved very much by her brothers and sisters, as well as extended family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Milam County Touch of Love or Rockdale Paws.
