Bobbie Jean Morris, 91, of, Giddings went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023.

A graveside ser v ice was to be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Lexington Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Lance Walch officiating.

Bobbie was born March 6, 1932, in Lee County to Robert and Lois Placke.

She loved being a devoted wife, mother and most of all a Nana to her grandchildren and dog mom to Lizzy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Morris; and a sister, Vere Longley.

Bobbie is survived by her children, Bob Morris and wife Ellen, Jeannie Bailey and husband Jim; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Bodiford and husband Clarence, Phillip Gulley and wife Carina, Carl Temple, Paul Morris, Seth Bailey and fiancé Kari; and her great-grandchildren, Jace Bodiford, Caroline Bodiford and Landrie Bailey.
