Mulford
Donald Philip Mulford, 75, of Temple died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at the V.A. Hospital in Temple.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Mark Porter-field officiating. Interment will be at the Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at a later date.
Mr. Mulford was born Aug. 24, 1944, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Lawrence S. and Blanche (Abramek) Mulford. He lived the past eight years in Temple, moving from Borden-town, New Jersey, where he had lived for 66 years.
He married Susan Guillote on July 24, 1981, in Chesterfield, New Jersey.
Mr. Mulford served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with the 173rd Airborne.
He enjoyed working in his shop and his yard, and he collected coins, walking canes and rocks.
Mr. Mulford worked for 46 tears as a template maker for Imo Delaval, who made turbines for nuclear submarines.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Ann Mulford; and a brother, Bruce Mulford.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Mulford of Temple; two sons, Gregory Philip Mulford and wife Alana of Roselle Park, New Jersey, Bryan Patrick Mulford of Rockdale; and two grandchildren, Austin Lewis Mulford and Jackson Taylor Mulford; also, several nieces and nephews.
