Munoz

Funeral services for Celia C. Munoz, 79, were held Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at Rising Star Baptist Church

in Rockdale with Rev. Royal Johnson officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rock-dale.

Mrs. Munoz died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

She was born June 15, 1940, in Garceno to Serapio Cruz and Isabel Rosa.

Mrs. Munoz was a homemaker and had lived many years in Rockdale.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Rosa; her father, Serapio Cruz; and a sister, Delia Castillo.

Surviving are her husband, Reynaldo Munoz of Rockdale; a son, Ricardo Munoz of Rock-dale; a sister, Lidia Garcia of Bakersfield, California; a brother, Serapio Cruz Jr. of Rio Grand City; three grandchildren, Erika Munoz, Ricardo Munoz Jr. and Rocky Munoz; and three great-grandchildren, Miah Beck-with, Levar Beckwith Jr., and Kimora Beckwith.

Pallbearers were Ricardo Munoz Jr., Levar Beckwith Jr., Israel Cruz, Rocky Munoz, Octaviano Gonzales, Enrique Olivarez, and Levar Beckwith Sr.
