Nelson

Norman Glenn Nelson, 63, of Franklin, formerly of Milano, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Graveside services were held Thursday, March 29, at Liberty Cemetery near Milano.

Mr. Nelson was born June 15, 1954, in Cameron to Alvin Charles and Dorothy (Vinton) Nelson.

He enjoyed horses, shooting pool, running dozers and a cold beer.

Mr. Nelson retired from Texas Utilities and Sanderson Farms.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kayla Nicole Nelson; and his parents, Alvin and Dorothy Nelson.

Survivors are two daughters, Amber Dawn Nelson of Bastrop, Desserie Pulley and husband Jerry of Rockdale; a brother, Thomas Nelson and wife Darla of Rockdale; four sisters, Barbara Starr and husband Bennie of Rock-dale, Opal Alexander of Lexington, Donna Nelson of Rockdale and Betty Faye Nelson of Milano; and two grandchildren, Dalton Alan Stephens and Lauren Grace Pulley; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
