CAMERON—Joseph Edward Obermiller, 33, of Belton, died Monday, May 6, 2024, at his residence.

Joseph was born June 13, 1990, in Austin. He graduated from Hutto High School in 2008 where he Mr. Obermiller played football and baseball.
He loved baseball and was a pitcher and did well.
He attended Concordia Lutheran College on an academic scholarship and left school to join the Marine Corps Reserves.
Joseph had worked in the HVAC and plumbing industries for several years.
He enjoyed helping people however he could. He had been a great help with his Mimi and Pa Paw Obermiller in their later years and was a caregiver for his maternal grandmother, Ann Myra, at the time of his passing.
Joseph loved the Texas Longhorns, Houston Astros and his little sister.
Survivors are his mother, Suzanne Ort and husband Phillip of Granite Shoals; his father, Charles Obermiller and wife Jan of Buckholts; a sister, Jessica Anne Obermiller of San Antonio; his grandmother, Ann Myra; his stepsisters, Cathleen Stettler of San Antonio, Victoria Stettler of Hutto; an uncle, Charles Ray of Morgan’s Point; and cousins Ashley and Katie Ray of Belton.
