Alberta Offield, 97, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Winnie L Nursing Home in Cameron.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Officiating will be Steve Young.

A visitation will start at 12:30 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mrs. Offield was born on March 22, 1926, to Emil A. and Theresia (Pelzel) Stolte in Sharp.

On April 19, 1946, she married Boyd Offield in Rockdale.

She loved her family and being a farmer’s wife and homemaker.

She was a member of the Richard’s Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.

She was truly blessed and had a good life.

Mrs. Offield was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Offield; her parents, Emil and Theresia Stolte; a daughter-in-law, Mickey Offield; and five siblings, Walter Stolte, Rosie Lee Stolte Rosenbaum, Albert Stolte, Hattie Hillin and Preston Stolte.

Survivors are a son, Carey Offield and friend Glenda Wiley of Rockdale; two grandsons, Mike Offield and wife Wendi, Joey Offield and wife Tammy, all of the Tracy community; her great-grandchildren, Hailey Evans and husband Derek, Justin Offield, Hayden Offield and Carson Offield; and her great-great-grandchildren Ayden Evans, Cooper Evans, Jasper Evans and Nash Offield.
