A graveside service for Thomas Lynn Ogea, 74, of Round Rock is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Salty Cemetery near Thorndale with Lisa Debault officiating.

Mr. Ogea died at his home on March 15.

He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Leo and LuNan Galbreath Ogea.

He was a graduate of Rockdale High School and attended the University of Texas.

Mr. Ogea worked a number of years for Sear’s as lawn and garden manager and then for the City of Round Rock as crew leader in the transportation division.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Staff Sgt. Adam W. Ogea, USMC.

Survivors are his brother, Billy Ogea and wife Anita of Rockdale; a niece, Amy Ogea Casas and husband Jessie of Rockdale; great-nephews McKade Casas of Belton, McKason Casas and Leo Casas, both of Rockdale; great-niece Kaylee Ogea of Carnot-Moon, Pennsylvania; and lifelong best friends Mike and Tammy Maki; also, numerous cousins across Texas.
