Annie J Osborne went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.
Services will be at 10 a. m. Sa t u r day, Sept. 2, at M ea d owbrook Baptist Church, 1401 Colorado Ave., Rockdale, with Pastor Stephen Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at Locklin Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Annie was born in Jasper County, Mississippi, to James A. and Maude Roberta Sims.
She loved her family with all her heart and shared her love for the Lord with everyone she met. Annie also had a great appreciation for the outdoors and all the beauty it had to offer. Her wit and humor were contagious, leaving a smile on the faces of those around her.
Annie’s legacy will live on through her family and all the memories they shared together. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving person who touched the hearts of all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Jerry Osborne; siblings Fannie Windham and Nick Sims; and great-grandson, Austyn James Barcak.
She is sur vived by her youngest sibling, Fredna Brown and husband, Wylie; her children, Donna Pipkin and husband Larry, Mike Osborne and wife Cindy, Wendy Cluck and husband Benny.
Annie was also blessed with nine granddaughters, six great- grandsons, 10 great-granddaughters, a great-great-grandson and two great-great-granddaughters.
She was a prayer warrior who never hesitated to bring people together through prayer. Though she will be missed, the impact she had on the lives of those around her will never be forgotten.
