Ashley Elizabeth Laywell Richardson, 39, of Rockdale passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Funeral service were held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed at Forest Grove Cemetery near Rockdale.

Ashley, a beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, was born June 15, 1984, in Cameron to Blane Laywell and Beth (Alford) Laywell.

She graduated from Yoe High School in 2002.

Ashley blessed her family with her daughter, Jamy, on Oct. 25, 2005.

On, Dec. 5, 2009, she married Guy Richardson Jr. and to that union added three more family members, Guy III, Jesse and Adam.

Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed and Jo Laywell, along with her maternal grandfather, Bill Alford.

She is survived by her husband, Guy Richardson Jr. of Milano; a daughter, Jamy Page Laywell of Rockdale; three sons Guy Richardson III, Jesse Edwin Richardson and Adam Blane Richardson, all of Milano; her mother, Beth Alford Laywell of Rockdale; her father, Blane Ashley Laywell and wife Lorri of Cameron; two brothers, Jason Laywell and wife Kari of Cedar Park, Logan Boyett of Cameron; and grandmother, Elois Alford of Rockdale.
