CAMERON—Charles Anthony “Bud” Riola, 70, of Cameron died Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in a Cameron nursing home.

Services were held Saturday, July 13, at St. Moni ca’s Catholic Church. Burial followed in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Ros ar y w as recited Friday, July 12 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Bud Riola, a master electrician, was born Aug. 16, 1953, in Temple to Charles Victor and Christine (Winkler) Riola.

He was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church where he served faithfully on the finance and maintenance committees.

Bud and his dad owned and operated R&R Electric in Cameron for many years.

He served on the Salem Elm Ridge Water Board, where he was president for many years. He also served on the Milam County Junior Livestock Show Board for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Riola, and a sister, Ruth Tomascik.

Survivors are his mother, Christine Riola of Cameron; four brothers, Robert Riola of Rockdale, Peter Riola of Stephenville, Christopher Riola of Pflugerville, Dominic Riola of Temple; and two sisters, Rebecca Tomascik of Cameron and Rosemary Laws of Holland.
