Samuel A. Deaver
DAVILLA—Samuel A. Deaver of Rogers died June 26, 2019, surrounded by his family.
Graveside services were held Saturday, June 29, at Friendship Cemetery near Davilla.
Mr. Deaver was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Rogers.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, being stationed in Korea from 1966 to 1969.
On July 16, 1966, he married Donna Kay Bales at County Line Baptist Church in Rogers.
For most of his working life, Mr. Deaver was self-employed.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.
Mr. Deaver was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lela Deaver; and four brothers, Ernest Lee, Bonnie Elton, Newton Roy and E.D. Deaver.
Survivors are his wife, Donna Deaver; his children, Samuel Dusty Darnell Deaver, Teresa Kay Baddock and husband Ken, and Kimberly Dawn Day; and a sister, Wanda Faye Cheek; also, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
