Shelton

CAMERON—Ronald Jasper Shelton, 81, of Cameron died Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in Polk County, near Livingston.

Private family services will be at a later date.

Mr. Shelton was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Cameron to Max L. and Dora Frances (Bell) Shelton.

He married Gloria Ann Marak and had retired from Alcoa in Rockdale as a machinist.

Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Tim Shelton, and by a brother, Donald Shelton.

Survivors are his wife, Gloria Shelton of Cameron; two sons, Michael Shelton and wife Melissa, Scotty Shelton and wife Debbie, all of Cameron; a daughter, Valerie Andress and husband Larry of Cameron; a brother, Rick Brock of Georgetown; a sister, Margie Light and husband Randy of Dallas; and a sister-in-law, Margie Shelton of Cameron; also, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his 4 legged companion “Bo.”
