Shirley “BoBo” Moody

Funeral services for Shirley “BoBo” Moody, 77, of Minerva were held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Phillips & Lucke y F u ne r al Home in Rockdale with Pastor Bill Harris and David Cox officiati ng. Bur ia l followed in Minerva Cemetery.

Mrs. Moody was born Jan. 20, 1946, in Cameron to Archie Lorenzo Donaho Sr. and Annie Mae Varner Donaho.

She married Wallace C. “Nig” Moody Jr. on Nov. 16, 1963, in Cameron.

Mrs. Moody was a homemaker and C.E.O. of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Annie Mae Donaho; her brothers, Archie Jr., Robert, Harold Ray, Douglas and Billy Joe Donaho; and a sister, Johnnie Eximan.

Survivors are her husband, Wallace C. “Nig” Moody Jr. of Cameron; a son, Cliff Moody of Cameron; a daughter, Kristi Pyeatt and husband Chad of Rockdale; and three grandchildren, Dustin Moody, RyLee Pyeatt and Owen Pyeatt; also, a number of nieces and nephew and her fur baby, buddy and pal, Missy.

Pallbearers were James Parker, Luke Parsley, Jake Parsley, Ed Dohnalik, Gary Simpkins and Jason Moody.

Honorary pallbearers were Sonny Warrick and Chad Pyeatt.
