Shore

Sandra Jean Bell Shore was born Aug. 25, 1942, in Crockett. She was adopted on Oct. 15, 1946, by her loving parents, Dock and Myrtle Bedell in Houston.

She was married to Buddy Dugger in March 1960 and to that union was born four children, Edward Von Brunow Dugger of Boston, Massachusetts, William Dugger and Diane Dugger of Conroe, and Mike Dugger of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Myrtle Bedell.

She is survived by her children, three stepdaughters, Molly Jean and husband Chris of Garland, Bobby Jo of Louisiana, and Jessica Warren and husband Rodney of Abilene; a sister- in-law, Ester Kennedy and her daughter, Kayla, of Flatonia; and her care giver and longtime friend, Marilyn Weller, and the whole Weller family and friends of Houston and Rockdale.

She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends and her church family.

She was recently in Rockdale Estates & Rehab Center for the past year.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, off of FM 1712 in Rockdale.
