Stimmel

Russell Wilson Stimmel, 60, passed away on May 4, 2022, after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Stimmel and Madeline Wilson, and a sister, Cynthia Lynn Stimmel.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Renee (McQueen) Stimmel; stepsons Frank McQueen Jr. and Kyle McQueen.

He also leaves behind three brothers, Ronnie Stimmel, Thomas (Benn) Stimmel Jr. and Joe Contella; sisters April Stimmel and Amanda Contella; nieces Alison (Morales) Seymour and Marianna Stimmel; and his “other mother,” Mary Ann Stimmel.

Russell was an awesome big brother, son, husband, and friend. He was a hard worker. He was funny. And kind. He loved music and movies.

His passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him, of which there are many.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Scott & White for their kindness and compassion. And a special thanks to his employer, Mine Service, for their generosity during this difficult time.
