LOCKPORT, NY—Services for Isidra Lucille Tim-key, 94, of Lockport, New York, were held Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at All Saints Parish in Lockport, NY. Entombment was in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Timkey died Wednesday, July 31, at Niagara Hospice House.
She was born May 15, 1925, in Rockdale to Marcello Garcia and Juana Hernandez Garcia.
After graduation, Mrs. Timkey worked at the family restaurant, Big John’s.
In 1949, she married William R. Timkey Sr. and they moved to Lockport, NY.
Mrs. Timkey retired from General Motors in 1986, after 30 years of service. She continued to work as an interpreter for Migrant Ministry & Clinic, Head Start of Olcott and for the local court system.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Timkey on Nov. 23, 2002; an infant son, Stephen Charles Timkey; and her parents.
Survivors include seven children, Frances (Kevin) McCoy, Betty (Peter) Sharkey, William Jr. (Rosemarie), James (Dotti), John (Doris), Nancy (Richard) Agostini and Laurie McRae; and a special niece, Victoria (Frank) Mireles; also, 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
