Vera Oneta Morgan Williams, 100, was born May 5, 1918, in Milano to Edna Ray Kelley Morgan and Walter Lee Morgan.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.
Services were held Sunday, Feb. 24, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rock-dale with Jim Franklin officiating. Burial followed at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Buckholts. Fellowship followed at the home of Richard and Minnie Ruzicka in Pettibone.
She married Charles Truman Williams, also of Milano.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, cook and seamstress for her family of 11 children.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing gospel songs and reading the Bible.
Mr. and Mrs. Williams were Christians and taught their children the importance of God, the Bible and Church.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Truman; and three children, Truman Elaine, Miriam Carolyn and Marshall Glen.
Survivors are three sons, Charles Leeland of New Caney, Bobby Ray of Montgomery, Teddy Wylie of Conroe; five daughters, Virgie Oneta Franklin of Georgetown, Linda Jane Brandon of Porter, Pearline Louise “Teeny” Johnson of Ballinger, Thelma Evelyn Brandon of Magnolia, Violet Renee Williams of Aransas Pass; an adopted daughter, Angela Williams Covey of Aransas Pass; and three sisters, Minnie Ruzicka of Pettibone, Jean Olin of Tomball, Joan Griffith of Round Rock; also, 24 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 43 great-great-grandchildren, a great-great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were John Covey, Charles Williams, Fred Tuggle, Douglas Brandon, Michael Ferguson and Kyle Horsting.
Honorary pallbearers were William Johnson Jr., Michael Williams and Bobby Williams II.
