Bessie Lange Wise, 87, of Gause died Jan. 30, 2022, at Crossroads Nursing Home in Hearne.
Her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at 12-noon, Sunday, Feb. 20, at Gause Full Gospel Church, 14069 E. US 79, two miles west of Gause, with Pastor Nicholas Burns officiating.
Ms. Wise was born March 3, 1934, in Gause to Cecil Edward Lange and Ratha Pearl Zedlitz Lange.
She was a retired teacher from Gause ISD.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ratha and Cecil Lange; a daughter, Martha Gressett; and a brother, Harold Lange.
Survivors are a sister, Gloria Beth Lange Deluna Frey and husband William “Bubba” Frey of Gause; also, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Gause Full Gospel Church.
