HEARNE—The Thorndale Bulldogs baseball team fought hard last week, but fell to the Burton Panthers in two games, 7-2 and 5-4.

NAVASOTA—The Milano varsity softball team continued to get the job done by taking down Latexo in three games last week, 5-2, 1-2 and 12-5.

AUSTIN—At the UIL Class 2A state track meet, Thorndale junior Carson McCoy blazed his way to a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.79.
