Rockdale fans celebrated senior night this past Friday at Tiger Stadium. Left, Bridget Grady performs with the Golden Girls during halftime. Far left, art students at RHS typically make a sign for the players to run through before games. This was different, as younger Rockdale students got to run through first. Bottom right, future Tigers and Lady Tigers getting to run on the field before the game began. MIDNIGHT MILE

This past week, Rockdale High School held their annual ‘Midnight Mile,’ where members of the RHS and RJH cross country teams paired up with a family member or friend to run a mile around the track at night. Participants ran with glow sticks or anything with light to brighten up an otherwise pitch-dark Tiger Stadium. RHS cross country teams return to the races on Saturday morning at Lexington’s Small Town Showdown.
