ENDING ON A HIGH NOTE— Thorndale High School senior Logan Davis was named District 27-2A’s Most Valuable Player. Teammate Broedie Salas was voted as Defensive Player of the Year and Bryson Beran, Kaden Kovar, Luke Merz, Hunter Thigpen and Coy Stutts earned first team honors. J.D. Alcalar and Hunter Clark were picked for the second team. The Bulldogs finished 2022 undefeated in district play and reached the regional quarterfinals this post-season.
SEGUIN—Last week Texas Lutheran University announced via Twitter that Austin Falke would lead the Bulldogs as the school’s new basketball coach.
