(Instead of hearing from me this week, I’d like to share with you this information about the American Legion which was sent to me by Rockdale’s American Legion Carlyle Post 358 Adjutant Michael Lee in honor of Veterans Day on Friday. K.W.C.)

10-20-40-100 YEARS AGO 100 YEARS AGO… The carnival given by the Rockdale High School last week was very successful. About $200 was added to the school fund. This money was greatly needed and it was assured to the citizens of Rockdale that every cent would be returned to the children through a better library and other equipment.
