I spent Monday morning in the doctor’s office trying to get something for my allergies. So it’s past time to send the news into the papers and I haven’t had time to get any together.
Kid’s reactions to the lighting of Rockdale’s new Christmas tree in Wolf Park. About 200 people enjoyed chili and hot chocolate at the park right before the Christmas tree lighting on Thursday.
An arts and crafts event has been added to the Dec. 12 Christmas activities in the downtown Milano area. The Milano Christmas Bazaar is looking for vendors to sell between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the same day as the city’s Christmas parade.
High school can be a difficult time for students as they stare at the gateway to the “real world.” There are a lot of choices to be made that will directly affect a student’s future. These choices are difficult when you do not fully know who you are or what you want to do for the rest of your life. The important thing is for students to put themselves in a position to be successful when they graduate. Whether it be attending a four year university, enlisting in the military, gaining skills at a technical school, or directly entering the workforce, we hope that students leave Rockdale High School with the necessary skills and experiences to be successful.
