This week let’s talk about what you eat before your Thanksgiving dinner is ready. We always seem to have a veggie tray, even if it comes from the grocery store. There is never any left. Sister-in-law Christine makes her “traditional Thanksgiving queso” with her homemade salsa. That’s a must as is sister-inlaw Noelia’s guacamole. We normally have cheese and crackers sitting out all day too. And maybe a relish tray as mom calls it, with things like pickles and olives. So, here’s a few for you to try.
Milam County 4-H is hosting a fundraiser to help raise money for the Milam County 4-H program. The funds used will help pay for entries for judging contests, day camps, fun activities, and many other 4-H programming needs.
There was lots of activity around town this past weekend including (clockwise from the upper left) The Shoppes at Moon River gave away Magical Margaritas on Saturday afternoon.
Home s al l over Rockdale were ready for Trick-or-Treaters on Tuesday when temperatures got up to nearly 60 degrees and then later dipped into the 30s overnight.
