AMBER WAVES OF GRAIN—It’s that time of year again, virus or no virus. Crops throughout the central part of the county are in evidence as July gives way to August. It was a very cloudy, dreary Monday morning, especially for all of us with allergies.
The Milam County Historical Commission’s virtual meeting will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday.
A benefit for the Richard Melton family is set for Saturday at Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale. This is an outdoor event and guidelines set by the county judge for social distancing will be followed, including asking those in attendance to wear masks.
