Traffic stops by police yielded several arrests by the Rockdale Police Department during the past week as follows:

US 79 ACCIDENTS—It wasn’t a good week along US 79 in Milam County either for accidents or for reports of them. The Department of Public of Safety, Rockdale Police, the Milam County Sheriff’s Department and an AMR ambulance crew responded to this wreck at 1:30 p.m. May 6 just east of the KC Hall. As of Tuesday there was still no report on file with the DPS Cameron office. Also, no report yet on a 4:04 p.m. Sunday accident on US 79 near FM 335. Troopers said a 6:47 p.m. Friday accident on US 79 east of County Road 346 involved a vehicle driven by Amanda Dusek of Rockdale.
