Some dogs enjoy the spoils of begging for food; they might even swipe something off a plate or the table when they think no one is watching. Yet these scraps aren’t always healthy for dogs and can create health issues over time.
On Dec. 12, Rober t Kirkpatrick of the Milam County Health Department hosted a five-member health delegation from Indonesia for a one-and-ahalf- hour presentation on rural public health.
At Monday’s RISD board meeting and luncheon, elementary, intermediate and junior high students were recognized for placing in Academic UIL competitions. Student athlete, Jesus Bocanegra, was recognized for placing 2nd at District, 7th at Regional and was a State Qualifier in Cross Country.
