The Marek Community will host their annual Homecoming Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Church located on FM 2269, seven miles northwest of Cameron.

Rockdale Earth Day is holding a fall clean-up day on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a free movie, Monkey Kingdom, following at The Kay.
