WINNING DESIGN
WINNING DESIGN—Congratulation to Rockdale High School sophomore Catalina Torres (L) and her graphic design teacher, Gimel Peterman, who are showing off her winning design of Rockdale Earth Day’s annual t-shirt contest, which was open to all high school students. Catalina will receive a $25 gift certificate donated by Martin and Maricela Gonzales, owners of Gonzales Mexican Bar and Grill. Catalina told The Reporter she was surprised that she won this year’s contest, but we are not surprised at all because of her creative use of a hidden Rockdale Tiger in her design. Shirt orders are being cut off on March 31. Order at rockdaleearthday@yahoo.com.
