COVID VACCINES COME TO YOU—Did you know that you can have your employees vaccinated while they are at work? Well you can. Brothers Enrique and Luis Briones, both employees of Gonzales Mexican Bar and Grill, got their vaccines from Esmeralda Olivares, LVN Vaccine Site Coordinator with the Milam County Health Department. Employers wishing to have their employees vaccinated on the job can call Esmeralda at 254-627-0311 or Amanda Huner at 254-627-9436.

MILKING A GOOD TIME—Miss Honey the Jersey milk cow was a big hit at RIS with second and third graders. Instructor Kaylor Campbell (above) taught the kids everything they needed to know about milk and how dairy is a part of good health. “Who likes cheese?” Nearly every hand went up (below) when the instructor asked that question.
