The Rockdale Police Department made six arrests over the past week, all of them already had warrants on them. They also issued 20 citations for everything from speeding to failure to stop for a school bus.
FINISHING TOUCHES—Big Creek Construction pours the last of the concrete in the 200 block of East Cameron Avenue on Friday in front of Place of Hope. The water pipes have been put into the 100 block so work should begin in that block soon.
• The resurfacing of US 79 would include the replacement of existing asphalt, curb and gutter, pedestrian facilities and various drainage improvements. Modified lane marking would improve safety and provide smooth traffic transitions.
