• Tuesday, 1:20 p.m. Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department along with Milam County Sheriff’s Office and AMR responded to a one-vehicle accident on south FM 486 north of FM 446.
‘Tree of Angels’ in county museum

Milam County and the District Attorney’s Office is sponsoring the 22nd annual “Tree of Angels.” The tree is decorated with angel ornaments bearing the tag of the victim and/or their family and is on display at the Milam County Museum.

Rockdale, Austin men arrested

Trevor Williams Wells, 25, of Rockdale was arrested Saturday at 6:56 p.m. on four warrants. He was arrested for burglary of a habitation along with warrants issued for charges of failure to change address/ name, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear, and assault causes bodily injury family violence.
