Thorndale 7-on-7 battled in a tough pool this weekend at the state qualifier in Chilton, with the Bulldog athletes falling 19-14 and 21-20 to Class 3A programs Riesel and New Waverly.
With the release of district picks last week, a total of 28 Thorndale High School athletes earned honors and junior Kelsey Kovar was named District 27-2A’s most valuable player.
