So what did you do for Valentine’s Day? I sat through very possibly the longest and most boring city council meeting ever. It was not in the least romantic. I think the city council needs a facilitator to keep things running more quickly. There are a lot of silences and the audience is screaming internally, “MAKE A MOTION!” At any rate I hope your Valentine’s Day was better than mine, the mayor’s and the council members.

Milam County Fire Departments: All of the fire departments in the county are composed of volunteers. These are generous men and women who give of their time and money to serve all of us in our most critical time of need. Please get out and support the local fire departments and thank those who volunteer.
